The MG GT boasts an impressive 1.5L turbocharged engine, while the other is equipped with a highly efficient 1.5L engine paired with the MEGA Tech CVT intelligent variable transmission.
Although the term ‘GT’ typically conjures images of high-speed, long-distance cars, the compact MG GT defies expectations with its sedan classification.
This vehicle seamlessly incorporates MG’s “Passionate Intelligent” design language into both its exterior and interior.
INTERIOR
The interior, adorned with a combination of black and red trims, exudes boldness while maintaining an inviting atmosphere. High-quality PU leather seats ensure both comfort and easy maintenance.
As we take a peek inside the MG GT, the stylish interior presents a dynamic and attractive design; the centre console, inspired by fighter jets, features a 10-inch infotainment touchscreen that tilts toward the driver. A 12.3-inch virtual cluster, along with a seven-inch LCD screen in front of the driver, provides essential information. The thick-rimmed, flat-bottomed steering wheel seen in other MG models completes the cockpit.

ENGINE
Under the hood of the impressive 1.5L turbocharged model lies a seven-speed three-chamber wet dual-clutch gearbox, delivering 173 PS maximum horsepower and 275 Nm maximum torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometres (km) per hour in just eight seconds.
The second variant features a highly efficient 1.5L engine paired with the MEGA Tech CVT intelligent variable transmission, a fourth-generation iteration of the engine developed by SAIC Motor.
This combination delivers exceptional fuel economy, with only 5.7L per 100km.
SAFETY
Safety features in the all-new MG GT are abundant, including the XDS Curve Dynamic Control System, SCS Body Electronic Stability Control System, Electronic Stability Program, Park Distance Control Reversing Radar, and more.
The MG GT also comes equipped with MG Pilot, featuring an Intelligent Driving Assistance System, 360-degree View Monitoring System, Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, Active Cornering Brake Control, Hill Hold Control, Autonomous Emergency Brake, and other safety assists to enhance driver confidence and control on the road.
To further enhance safety, the GT is equipped with six airbags, ensuring maximum protection for both the driver and passengers in the event of a collision.
