Fifty join 40-round Tutong fun run

Fifty participants took part in a 16-kilometres fun run at the Tutong Sports Complex on Sunday, organised by Tutong Runners with cooperation from Shahney Event Management.

Acting Tutong District Officer Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri was the guest of honour.

At the event, several rules were set up to allow the participants to complete the distance by running 40 rounds on the track. Participants who did not meet the running distance were placed as ‘did not finish’ the run. The running times were recorded through the AQRACE timing system.

The run was split into four categories – 40 years old and below, 41 to 48 years old, veteran senior category aged 49 to 59 and grandmaster 66 and above category.

The event was aimed to provide a space for runners to train and share their experiences among each other. – James Kon
