Festive radio, TV programmes to enliven Raya celebrations

Radio Television Brunei (RTB) have come up with various programmes that will be broadcasted on its radio and television channels including RTBGo to enliven the festivities of the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.

On the eve of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Harmoni FM listeners can tune in to Sembang-Sembang Malam Raya at 10.30pm. On the first day of Syawal, a special drama Drama Sejalan Sehaluan will be aired at 10.30am.

For avid poetry fans, Pantun MOU 3 Serumpun produced jointly by RTB with Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) and Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) will be aired on the second day of Syawal at 10.30am.

Meanwhile, Pilihan FM will broadcast the annual ‘From the Excellencies Raya Edition’, on the first day of Syawal from 11am to 4pm.

The Aidilfitri edition of Titian Senada jointly produced by RTB and Traxx FM can be heard on the same day at 9.15pm.

For Pelangi FM, the radio channel has produced Ragam Berpantun that will be broadcasted on the first day of Syawal from 2pm to 6pm. Listeners can send their poems through Pelangi FM social media accounts. Listeners of this station will be entertained with songs performed by the station’s radio presenters through the Suara Pelangi programme that will be aired on the third day of Syawal at 2pm.

The Salam Mesra programme on Nasional FM, produced in collaboration with Warna Mediacorp, will air today at 11am. Listeners can also tune in to a special drama titled Cintaku Di Negeri Seberang which will be aired on the third day of Syawal at 11.05am.

Meanwhile, Nur Islam FM has produced an educational drama titled Resam Dunia Edisi Khas Raya which will be aired on the first day of Syawal at 2pm. The social and family drama revolves on the daily life and issues of the surrounding community.

To enliven the festivities, all RTB radio channels will be conducting radio quizzes for their listeners from the eve of Aidilfitri until the third day of Syawal.

On television, a live telethon Esuk Raya will be broadcasted on the eve of Aidilfitri on RTB Aneka from 9pm. Apart from being entertained by Hari Raya songs performed by guest artistes, listeners will have the opportunity to convey Hari Raya greetings and win attractive prizes throughout the show.

RTB Aneka will also screen a drama titled Bahagia Milikku which tells the story of the domestic conflict between Yazid and Athirah. Viewers can watch this drama from the first to the fourth day of Syawal at 5pm.

Meanwhile on RTB Perdana channel, the public will be able to watch the reality show Makan… Makan… Makan… Edisi Raya scheduled to be broadcasted tomorrow at 11pm.

A foreign documentary programme Greats of Islam: Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq will be broadcasted today at 9pm. A cooking show Lesung Siri 2 will air today until May 6 at 2pm.

RTB will also broadcast a children’s programme Adikku Pintar Berhari Raya on April 30 at 7.30pm on RTB Sukmaindera channel. Viewers can watch a local drama titled Aku Calikah on April 30 at 4pm.

On RTBGo, the public can watch four programmes produced under the ‘Pitch & Produce 3.0’ project managed by the Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI) in collaboration with RTB throughout the month of Syawal.

Reality show Cabaran 24 Jam can be viewed on the eve of Aidilfitri at 8.30pm. Meanwhile, Diari Jalanan will be made available today at 2pm. Catatan Misteri, a horror drama, can be viewed the following week, on April 29 at 2pm. A talk show The Checklist will be made available on May 6 at 2pm.
