Festive stage performances of Malam Nuriman organised by Akademi Panggung Sri Utama (APSU) brought entertainment to Tutong residents.
The performances, included poetry and dakwah songs as well as the recitation of Doa Selawat, a sketch, ‘Wal Asr’, performed by APSU members.
Legislative Council member and Village Head of Kampong Sengkarai Yang Berhormat Abdul Aziz bin Haji Hamdan, the guest of honour at the event, also showcased his poetry reading skills.
“Through the Malam Nuriman, we will always be reminded to recite Doa Selawat and remember Allah the Almighty. The sketch also delivered a message to the Ummah to refrain from wasting time with complacency,” he said. The event concluded with quizzes and a prize presentation. – James Kon
