The Mosque Affairs Department through the Muslimah Affairs Division with the cooperation of Brunei-Muara Mosque Affairs and Perdana Wangsa Haji Mohammad Mosque in Kampong Setia of Kampong Ayer held a Ratib Al-Attas recitation and religious talk to mark the 77th birthday celebration of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
In attendance was the spouse of Syariah High Court Judge Datin Hajah Majanah binti Haji Abdullah. Brunei Islamic Religious Council accredited Da’ie Zati Hanani binti Dato Seri Setia Haji Rajid as the course instructor also delivered a religious talk.
The event was held to enliven the royal birthday celebration with religious activities, encourage individuals to recite wirid regularly and forge closer ties among female congregants. – Azlan Othman
