ANN/THE DAILY STAR – After 17 years, the iconic figures of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan, are poised for a remarkable on-screen reunion.
Indian media sources have unveiled that these two megastars are slated to star in an undisclosed project, leaving fans eagerly anticipating their collaboration, potentially as cameo appearances in Don 3.
Instant Bollywood posted on Instagram and published a shot of Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan with the caption, “Coming soon- Don 1 & 2 to come together for a project after 17 years.”
This cryptic statement has stirred a flurry of speculation among fans, many of whom are fervently hoping for a joint appearance in the upcoming Don 3.
This piqued the interest of fans, who started speculating that the two superstars would be teaming up for Don 3 and even demanded cameos from them.
“What if there are three dons coming together in the upcoming Don 3?” one of the comments said. Another person wrote, “Don 3 please”. Some started to wonder whether they might reunite for Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham 2.
Interestingly, Amitabh Bachchan hinted on working with Shah Rukh Khan a few days ago during his show KBC 13, where he remarked, “I saw (Gauri’s) interior design works. I was recently filming with Shah Rukh Khan and got inside his van as we were conversing. It is exquisitely designed. There is a TV, a sliding sofa, a kitchen, and many other amenities,” stated the actor. Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan have previously gifted blockbuster movies including Mohabbatein, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna.
