Big Kem Project in collaboration with the Youth and Sports Department Belait District Branch will be hosting a Big Kem Family Run 2024 in conjunction with the National Family Day celebration on May 12 at Mumong Sports Complex.
The event comprising three categories includes 2-kilometre (km) Fun Run, 5km Run and 10km Run. Runners can run with their family members or friends to grab the group discount or run solo. The event welcomes all participants in all ages including children.
Each runner will receive an event t-shirt, running bib and a finishing medal. The top three runners in the 5km and 10km will win medals and cash prizes. This will also be a fund-raising event for Persatuan REDHA and Harapan Anakku, where every BND5 from the registration fee will be donated to Persatuan REDHA, a local non-governmental organisation committed to empower individuals with special needs and promoting inclusivity within society.
Furthermore, every Big Kem runner will also gain BruPoints (who registered with the BruHealth app) starting from 150 points on the race day. Runners can redeem gifts from the BruPoints mall with the points collected.
