The Government of Brunei Darussalam is reclaiming the Chinese cemetery land at Kampong Lupak Luas, Mukim Sungai Kebun.
Descendants and family members who have ancestral tombs located at the area are urged to register the tomb with the Teng Yun Temple (To’Kong China Brunei Darussalam). It is believed the site has hundreds of Chinese tombs.
The registration aims to smoothen the process of removal and transport of tombs to a new location.
Members of the public who are impacted can visit Teng Yun Chinese Temple during office hours for registration. – James Kon
