Football club managers convened with the president and executive committee members of the Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (FABD) in their inaugural meeting to deliberate on the current state of the association’s progress following the commencement of the 2024-2028 term.
FABD President Haji Feisal bin Haji Eusoff Patail urged members to offer their support and emphasised a reinforced dedication to principles of good and responsible governance.
“We are working together in the continued success of the development of football in the country,” he said at FABD House.
Meanwhile, FABD Deputy President Haji Mahrub bin Haji Murni explained the position from the audit report for the 2022 financial year and made preparations for the 2023 auditing process to enable FABD to obtain financial allocations for 2024 and beyond.
The meeting is also a step to prepare for the extraordinary congress, expected to be held in the middle of next February.
In addition, the meeting is a positive step by FABD to provide transparency to all its members in the current management and development.
Acting Secretary General Ahmad Za’eem bin Omarali presided over the meeting, initiating a discussion by inviting representatives of the clubs in attendance to share their perspectives and thoughts. – Azlan Othman
