Newly-appointed executive committee (Exco) members of the Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (FABD) needs to fulfil their responsibilities to the best of their abilities to enhance and advance football in the Sultanate.
This was said by FABD President Haji Feisal bin Haji Eusoff Patail during the Exco meeting at FABD House recently.
He said, “We are all entrusted with, and are responsible for this mandate,” adding that the meeting was the starting point for all members to express their opinions openly.
He also said that members should collectively integrate beneficial ideas towards shaping solutions and formulae to bring the association and the country’s football forward.
He thus urged all members to work together towards upholding the best principles of FABD
governance.
He believed that all proposals and formulae presented have been considered and will be used to build strong foundation to bring FABD into an era of expected greatness.
The meeting also saw the appointment of permanent committees (standing committees) to all members, expected to assist and facilitate FABD programmes and activities.
The meeting was chaired by the Acting Secretary-General of FABD Ahmad Za’eem bin Omarali, and was also attended by FABD Vice President Haji Mahrub bin Haji Murni. – Azlan Othman
