The raw power of the recently launched Jaguar F-Pace SVR engine packs an adrenaline-pumping experience for driver and passengers in the high performance sports utility vehicle (SUV).

Indera Motors Sdn Bhd, the sole distributor and retailer of Jaguar Land Rover in Brunei Darussalam, organised a media briefing and test drive to get a feel of the real power of the F-Pace SVR on Thursday.

Indera Motors Assistant Product and Market Development Manager Ahmad Sajjaad bin Haji Rusli shared, “The new F-Pace SVR can be instantly recognised as Jaguar’s SUV performance flagship thanks to a host of unique exteriors upgrade that reflect its abilities and contribute to its desirability.”

The muscular shape and unique SVR developed body element of the new F-Pace SVR do more than contribute to its purposeful appearance, he said, explaining that “they also decrease lift by 35 per cent and reduce drag co-efficient by three per cent compared to the F-Pace SVR 19MY, delivering significant benefits to performance by exchanging the dynamic abilities of the vehicles”.

Meanwhile, the interior is the most driver focussed F-Pace available. It offers astonishing performance as well as a broad range of design upgrades to its exterior and interior.

The new F-Pace SVR builds further on the DNA developed from F-Type and Range Rover Sport SVR.

The interior features even higher quality materials, while the new drive selector, steering wheel and Alcantara seat covers together with new Pivi Pro infotainment system enhance the driving experience further.

The Pivi Pro infotainment system with the 11.4 HD touchscreen comes with Smart setting, over the air updates and connected navigation with the next generation 3D maps and smart voice guidance.

The power behind the luxury SUV is one of its highlights – Jaguar’s 550PS five-litre V8 supercharged petrol engine with a 700Nm torque capable of going from zero to 100 kilometres per hour (km/h) in just four seconds, with a top speed of 286km/h. Travelling at high speed, the Jaguar F-Pace SVR handles well around corners.

The safety features include emergency braking, blind spot assist, 3D surround camera, clear exit monitor, adaptive cruise control and speed limiter, as well as drive condition monitor.
