Over 120 members of the extended family of Hassan and Hajah Rafelen gathered at the open field of the Liang Lumut Recreation Club (LLRC) for fun games and activities to commemorate National Family Day yesterday.
Rapiah binti Hassan, one of the family members, was the guest of honour.
The gathering provided an opportunity for the family to catch up, have fun through games and activities as well as to remember family members who have passed away, gathering chairman Muhammad Ali bin Hassan told the Bulletin.
“For this year, one of our sisters, Rapiah, was chosen to be the guest of honour, as we plan to have a rotating cast of special guests comprising six senior brothers and sisters. This will ensure that each year we can share the excitement with the brothers, sisters and their family members as we look forward to more celebrations in the future,” he added. – Daniel Lim
