I would like to call on the postal authority to consider expanding its mail processing centre in light of the increasing popularity of online shopping. Compared to a decade ago, there are now more people opting for online shopping than ever before. Even locally, some would rather have their goods delivered to their homes, not unlikely during the heights of the pandemic. As a result, it is putting a severe strain on the processing centre.
Perhaps it’s time to consider a larger workforce, so the mails could be processed more promptly, thus increasing customer satisfaction.
