Exciting prizes up for grabs

One lucky spectator will drive home a brand new Haval Jolion as the grand prize winner of a lucky draw of the upcoming international friendly football Match between Brunei’s DPMM FC and China’s Guangxi Pingguo Haliao Guojing.

Other prizes include five 65-inch smart TV, three inverter refrigerators and two water purifier.

All purchased tickets are eligible for the lucky draw.

As part of the training and exposure ahead the Singapore League in May, DPMM FC line up will include Miguel Angelo Agostinho Oliveira, Kristijan Naumovski, Farshad Noor, Azwan Ali Rahman and Muhammad Nurikhwan bin Othman.

Guangxi Pingguo is also believed to be lining up its import players, Giovanny, Bammou, Level alongside with Hu RT and Dong YF.

The team is expected to arrive in the country three days before the match.

Pengiran Salleh Ab Rahaman bin Pengiran Haji Damit, as the chairperson of the match, said the match will be a milestone in the local football scene as it will be the first ever international friendly match organised, and will mark the cordial ties between Brunei Darussalam and China in the field of sports.

“Let’s all show our support for our football players and make this first international friendly a successful event,” he said.

Guangxi Pingguo is a second tier football club in Chinese League One. It took the fourth spot last season.

The international friendly football is scheduled to take place on the evening of April 20 at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium. – Lyna Mohamad
