The Information Department held nationalism briefings for students at Institut Tahfiz Al-Quran Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (ITQSHHB) and Sultan Hassan Secondary School (SMSH) yesterday.
Some 60 Year 7 students on the ITQSHHB’s ‘Aliyah Qira’at diploma programme attended the briefing at the institute’s lecture hall. Head of Nationhood Unit at the Information Department Hajah Noorhijrah binti Haji Idris delivered the talk.
In the Temburong District, around 120 Year 7 students from SMSH attended the briefing by Information Department Temburong Branch Head Izzah Hazira binti Haji Adi Othman.
The briefings are part of ongoing efforts by the Information Department in cultivating nationalism among the youth. – Azlan Othman
