‘Established companies serve as benchmarks of success’

It is important for established companies to serve as benchmarks of success and drive competitiveness in their respective industries. Their success inspires and sets standards for other businesses to strive for, creating a healthy competitive environment. The competition leads to continuous improvement, efficiency gains and higher quality products and services, all of which benefit the economy as a whole.

This was shared by Enterprise Development Director Norlela binti Suhailee at Darussalam Enterprise’s (DARe) launch of the Elevate Programme’s Cohort 3 at a networking event at The Garden’s Veranda, Rimba yesterday.

For the new cohort, she said, “Your participation in the programme and presence signify your commitment to growth, professional excellence and making a positive impact on Brunei’s business landscape.

“We encourage you to embrace the opportunity with enthusiasm, embrace the challenges that lie ahead, and savour every moment of the journey.

“While we understand that growth is not an overnight success, it is the collection of efforts, hard work and determination that will keep us on track in the journey and eventually help us achieve our growth objective.

“As you embark on this path, remember that you are not alone. You are with like-minded individuals, driven by the same desire for growth and excellence. Together, we will create a supportive network where ideas flourish and partnerships and friendships are formed.

Cherish the bonds and seize every opportunity to learn from one another. Remain open-minded and seek collaborations beyond the traditional.

“Our aim is to empower you and your businesses to become catalysts for growth and positive changes in your respective fields.”

Meanwhile, Elevate Manager Ilie Rahman delivered a presentation on Elevate, which provides tailored assistance and regular monitoring over five years for established companies that have high-growth potential.

The programme’s objective is to grow promising MSMEs to be more sustainable and resilient, capable of international expansion and collaboration.
