The Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) is holding a two-day Entrepreneurship Day, which concludes today. The activity is organised by KUPU SB’s Faculty of Syariah and Student Affairs Section.
The event’s objective is to meet KUPU SB’s goal in providing a balanced and comprehensive education so that students can become mature and competent professional educators.
It is also hoped to provide exposure on theory and practice, especially in entrepreneurship so that the students will be equipped to be versatile and visionary leaders.
The activity serves as a platform for students to venture into business, instil the spirit of working together, creative thinking and inculcate the value of entrepreneurship.
Twelve booths were provided which saw the participation of agencies including the Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI), Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD), Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (Perbadanan TAIB), Darussalam Holdings Sdn Bhd, Insurans Islam TAIB, Basmalah Enterprise, Sabli’s and Al-Minhaaj Centre.
Food, beverages and products by KUPU SB students and other vendors are sold at the 65 booths.
The entrepreneurship also features stage performances such as tausyeh, hadrah, skit and experience sharing.
