The four-day Tawakkal Bazaar organised by Kampong Kilanas/Jangsak Village Consultative Council (MPK) in collaboration with the Brunei-Muara District Office at the Muhibbah Hall in Jalan Airport Lama, Berakas was a success.
The event with 38 exhibitors selling food, handicrafts and Muslim clothes was held to raise funds for the MPK and encourage entrepreneurship among the villagers, particularly the youth.
The bazaar was also held to promote food and handicrafts made by local entrepreneurs and raise awareness that participating in building the economy is a patriotic and a religious duty.
The event, that ends today, will see the presentation of donations to the Pakistan Flood Humanitarian Fund 2022 and the village’s orphans’ fund.
