The Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC) marked Ramadhan with a Nuzul Al-Quran celebration and Khatam Al-Quran at the Law and Courts building recently.
Attorney General Dato Seri Paduka Haji Ahmad bin Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Bakti Di-Raja Dato Laila Utama Haji Awang Isa led the celebrations.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, Takhtim and Doa Khatam.

Royal Brunei Police Force’s (RBPF) Belait District headquarters organised a Khatam Al-Quran to mark Ramadhan recently.
Commissioner of Police Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali was guest of honour.
Commanding Officer of Belait Police District Senior Superintendent Handrie bin Haji Amin was also present.
The event began with a recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan followed by recitation of verses of Al-Quran led by SJN 4311 Mohamad Hasde bin Mohammad Tahir. It concluded with a recitation of Doa Khatam, Dikir Marhaban and Doa Selamat.

The Council of Women of Brunei Darussalam (CWBD) conducted a Khatam Al-Quran yesterday.
Some 200 members from 13 associations under the CWBD attended the event at Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque in Kampong Manggis/Madang.
CWBD President Datin Hajah Siti Hajar binti Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yusof was the guest of honour.
The event began with recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Selawat Tafrijiyyah led by CWBD/PGGMB Religious Section Chairperson Pengiran Hajah Rakiah binti Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar followed by recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Datin Hajah Siti Hajar.
There were recitations of Surah Adh-Dhuha until Surah Al-Masad. Recitations of Takhtim and Doa Takhtim were led by Hajah Fatimah binti Haji Ahmad from Pertiwi Association while Dikir Marhaban was performed by Kampong Lambak Youth Association (PERBEKAL) and Kampong Junjongan Women Association (PEWAJA) members.
The event concluded with Doa Selamat recited by Nurul Hamizah binti Awang Jaya from Women Graduates Association of Brunei Darussalam (PSW) and Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam by Hajah Saadiah binti Haji Ibrahim of Women’s Institute of Brunei Darussalam (WI).

Kampong Belimbing Subok Mosque Takmir Committee members organised a Khatam Al-Quran to mark the end of month-long Tedarus recently.
Mosque Affairs Department Acting Assistant Director Haji Asminan bin Haji Chuchu was the guest of honour.
Legislative Council member Yang Berhormat Haji Daud bin Jihan as adviser of the mosque’s takmir committee was also present.

Sultan Saiful Rijal Technical College Surau organised a Khatam Al-Quran to mark Ramadhan and Nuzul Al-Quran.
Mosque Affairs Officer Pengiran Haji Hafizzudin bin Pengiran Haji Bakar, surau committee members and congregants were present.
The event began with recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Pengiran Haji Hafizzudin followed by recitation of Takhtim led by the surau’s youth. Doa Khatam was recited by deputy chair of the surau’s committee Awangku Ahmad Fathurrahman Firdaus bin Pengiran Haji Hasanuddin followed by Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam by surau bilal Haji Jalil bin Haji Putra.

A Khatam Al-Quran was held for Temburong District converts recently at Kampong Semabat Religious Hall.
Acting Assistant Director of Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI) Haji Ahmad Abdussalam bin Haji Abdul Rahman was the guest of honour.
Acting Head of Converts Development Division Dr Hajah Rohanita binti Haji Yaakub, Head of Media Division Hajah Rosinah binti Haji Mangshor and President of the Temburong District New Converts Association Muhd Ashim Amrullah bin Abdul Rahman were also present.
The event began with recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Haji Ahmad Abdussalam followed by recitations of Khatam Al-Quran, Takhtim, Tahlil, Doa Arwah and Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam led by Acting Imam Haji Moksin bin Mohd Karim @ Moksin anak Pendam.
It continued with a presentation of waqaf, a Maghrib prayer and recitation of Ratib Al-Attas.
