The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) held a Tedarus Al-Quran ceremony at Kampong Perpindahan Mata-Mata Mosque yesterday, in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan.
The ceremony was organised by the MCYS with the Brunei History Centre and in cooperation with the Kampong Perpindahan Mata-Mata Mosque takmir committee.
Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad led the MCYS entourage.
The ceremony also saw a handover of waqaf to the mosque.
Also in attendance were Permanent Secretary (Youth) at the MCYS Haji Zakaria bin Haji Serudin, directors, heads of department as well as MCYS officers and staff, joined by the local mosque congregation.
