A three-day basic investigation enforcement course for government employees under the Ministry of Development (MoD) and its departments concluded with a certificate presentation for 37 participants on Thursday.

The course from March 7 to 9 at Atria Simpur Hall, Public Works Department Headquarters was organised by the MoD together with Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF).

The participants were from the Land Department; Authority on Building Control and Construction Industry (ABCi); Public Works Department; and Department of Town and Country Planning; and Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation (JASTRe).

Deputy Permanent Secretary (Corporate and Law) at the MoD Aldila binti Haji Mohamad Salleh presented the certificates.

She said, “The facilitators from the RBPF helped the ministry to better understand the intricacies of their duties, as well as the skills required to carry out their duties and responsibilities related to enforcement more effectively.”

Facilitated by RBPF personnel, the course aimed to enhance knowledge on enforcement in accordance to best practices by the RBPF for agencies under the MoD.

It is among the visions of the MoD to have competent officials contribute more to society by ensuring peace and stability.
