Encouraging turnout at travel fair

“This year’s travel fair was better than last year’s. Most of our clients even bought tickets for next year,” said Straits Central Agency (B) Sdn Bhd (SCA) General Manager Nur Khadijah binti Abdullah at the Sabre Brunei Travel Fair 2023 yesterday.

She added that the clients were delighted to get promotional fares, outside of the traditional December super peak.

The SCA booth featured a lucky draw for clients, with prizes ranging from travel vouchers worth over BND1,000 to accommodation packages at in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah in Malaysia and dining vouchers.

Some also took the opportunity of the discounts for selected travel destinations and the Cuti-Cuti Malaysia packages.

“Many inquired about the Miss SHOPhia Shopping Hunt Penang Edition, a collaboration between SCA and Tourism Malaysia Brunei,” she said.

“We also had an encouraging number of group departures to Taiwan, South Korea and Beijing, China.” – Lyna Mohamad
