Empowering youth with financial smarts

In a concerted effort to bolster financial literacy among young students, the Brunei Darussalam Central Bank and Ministry of Education jointly inaugurated the first National Savings Day (NSD) 2024 Financial Awareness Roadshow at the Dato Mohd Yassin Primary School in Mentiri on Thursday.

The NSD 2024 Financial Awareness Roadshow was inaugurated by Minister of Education Datin Seri Setia Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd Salleh, who also chairs the National Financial Literacy Council. Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy (Economy) and Chairman of Brunei Darussalam Central Bank’s Board of Directors, Dato Seri Paduka Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid, was also present.

NSD 2024 will include five roadshows across all four districts.
