James Kon

Ninety-two Year 10 students from Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Secondary School recently attended a briefing on National Youth Policy and Strategy 2020-2035(DBNS 2020-2035) at the school premises.

The briefing was delivered by the Youth Development Centre (PPB) Assistant Director Haswandi bin Haji Osman as the Secretariat of DBNS 2020-2035 who also facilitated the event.

Among the objectives of the briefing was to disseminate information on youth policies to realise the national aspirations of engaging more youth in policy formulation and decision making.

The programme also aimed to develop the ecosystem for youth to be future-ready.

DBNS 2020-2023 was launched on December 1, 2021 to deal with youth issues holistically and inclusively. The framework also focusses on moulding competitive, dynamic and progressive youth that can contribute to the Youth Vision.
