The Bangkit Bersama programme aims to obtain contributions and sponsorships for the purpose of training Itqan Group for Single Mothers Movement Association (PGIT) members to enhance their entrepreneurial skills.

This was said by the group’s head Pengiran Haji Ahmad Masudwardi Aidil-Fitri bin Pengiran Haji Mohd Daud during the launch of the programme organised by the 32nd Executive Development Programme for Middle Management Officers (EDPMMO) at the PGGMB Building yesterday.

He also said that their effort is to liaise with stakeholders from the public and private sectors as well as non-governmental organisations.

Legislative Council member Yang Berhormat Siti Rozaimeriyanty binti Dato Seri Laila Jasa Haji Abdul Rahman launched the programme.

The social programme aims to introduce the newly established PGIT to the local community.

The programme also helps introduce PGIT to stakeholders to build their resilience, to improve themselves and build a strong community.

The ceremony also marked the start of a seminar yesterday.

The programme is supported by Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) Seeds as the main sponsor and cooperation from Qalam Academy as a seminar consultant. It is also assisted by contributions from the Brunei Islamic Trust Fund and the Islamic Da’wah Centre.
