The highlight of the morning was the presentation of the Syariah Courts Service Awards for 2023, recognising outstanding commitment and performance. The Acting Chief Registrar congratulated the awardees, expressing hope for continued excellence.
The assembly went on to outline achievements in 2023, including registered cases, crime statistics, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Notable efforts included advocacy workshops for aspiring Syariah lawyers and collaborations with external entities.
Plans for 2024 were unveiled, focusing on enhancing capabilities, improving public access to justice, and streamlining case management. The commitment to customer service and continuous improvement underscores the Syariah Court’s dedication to upholding justice in accordance with Syariah principles.
