Embassy visit fosters cultural ties

The Embassy of Turkiye in Brunei Darussalam is looking to collaborate with local non-governmental organisations (NGOs) on cultural activities, such as archery and the Khat calligraphy.

This was said by Ambassador of Turkiye to Brunei Darussalam Professor Dr Hamit Ersoy who hosted a visit for 14 Kampong Lambak Youth Association (PERBEKAL) executive committee members yesterday.

The association’s President Pengiran Haji Nordin bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud led the delegates. The visit, marked the first meeting of introduction on the Turkish government’s role with local NGOs, served to strengthen ties and cooperation.

The visit also saw both parties exchange views and opinions on the developments of the collaboration. – James Kon
