The Thai Embassy in Brunei Darussalam, together with members of the Thai community, Friends of Thailand and local distributors of Thai’s products, donated food to 150 students and parents of Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam, in conjunction with Thai Queen Sirikit’s 92nd birthday, which falls on August 12.
Thai Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Boosara Kanchanalai was among the attendees at the annual charity event. She was welcomed by Pusat Ehsan’s board of trustees member Audrey Choo Wah.
The ambassador expressed gratitude that there was an increase in participation from the Thai community as well as Friends of Thailand and local distributors of Thai products this year.
The event also saw a presentation of donations from the embassy and Friends of Thailand. – James Kon
