A 71-year-old male permanent resident suspected to be involved in 4D gambling activities was arrested by Belait Police District Headquarters personnel on November 30.
Acting on a tip-off, the police raided the Jalan Pandan 6 residence in Kuala Belait. The suspect, together with evidence in the form of money, number slips and a mobile phone used to facilitate transactions, were brought to the Belait Police District Headquarters. The case is being investigated under Section 4, Chapter 28 of the Common Gaming Houses Act.
