Eighteen police officers were promoted during a ceremony at the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) headquarters yesterday.
Commissioner of Police Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali was the guest of honour.
Also in attendance were Deputy Commissioner of Police Dato Seri Pahlawan Sulaiman bin Alidin, directors, deputy directors and officials.
An officer has been promoted to senior superintendent, one to superintendent while another officer to deputy superintendent.
Meanwhile, 10 officers have been promoted to acting deputy superintendent, two to assistant superintendent, one to chief inspector and two to senior inspectors.
