Brunei OFW Basketbolista (BOB) Season 11 tipped off on Tuesday at the Batu Bersurat Basketball Court themed, ‘Life Begins at 40, Veterans Cup’.
The latest instalment of the basketball championship was spearheaded by commissioners Gael and Maricar Pacuribot, Garry Ursua and other BOB organisers.
Eight teams are vying to lift the championship trophy. The teams comprised Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) aged 40 and above residing in the Sultanate and one invited veteran team headed by Malcolm Lau.
BOB remains committed in providing quality and memorable basketball experiences to all OFWs in Brunei and to promote a work-life balance by promoting competitive wellness activities to basketball enthusiasts. – James Kon
