Eight teams confirmed in Civil Service Day quarters

 
The Ministry of Development (MoD) finished top of Group ‘B’ in the veteran category and confirmed their passage to the next round of the 31st Civil Service Day Inter-Ministry Futsal Championship.
 
The team collected seven points with two wins and one draw, a point ahead of group runners-up Ministry of Education (MoE).
 
The Ministry of Defence (MinDEF) and the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism (MPRT) also reached the quarterfinals with five points each.
 
The veteran category has been divided into two groups with the participation of 11 teams and is set to continue with the quarterfinals on October 22.

The last-eight line-up will witness an encounter between the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) and MPRT while the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) face a test against MoE.
 
MoD will meet the Ministry of Health (MoH) while the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) will take on MinDEF.
 
The 31st Civil Service Day Inter-Ministry Futsal Championship 2024 organised by the Ministry of Home Affairs aims to increase the potential and unearth talents of players as well as strengthen friendly relations among personnel in the civil service.
