    Eight teams compete in badminton tournament for mosque members nationwide

    Some eight teams participated in the inaugural badminton tournament for mosque takmir committee members, youth and officers at the Tutong District Sports Complex Hall recently.

    Temburong District shuttlers triumphed, with Tutong II and Brunei-Muara Zone 5A coming in second and third places.

    The tournament was organised by the Mosque Affairs Department at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, with cooperation from members of the Tutong Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque Takmir Committee and support from the Brunei Darussalam National Badminton Association. The tournament aimed to foster independence and adaptability among mosque members, as well as building tolerance, self-confidence, responsibility and appreciation for bodily health.
