Eight Amarco Services Sdn Bhd staff have been accredited as fire marshals after completing a three-day course facilitated by Fire and Rescue Department’s Public Relations Unit of the Operation ‘A’ Branch.
The course held at Amarco Services and Sungai Liang Fire Station saw participants learning the importance of fire prevention and safety through theory and practical lessons.
They were taught the causes of fire, course of actions to take when a fire breaks out at the workplace as well as systematic evacuation. Participants also learnt the proper use of fire extinguisher and fire blanket as well as tools used in fire and rescue operations.
Amarco Services Chief Executive Officer Jean Fouquet was present on the second day of the course as a show of support. – James Kon
