I had a bad case of eczema that required urgent treatment so I headed over to the Emergency Department at the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital at 10pm.
I was impressed with the speedy and efficient service right from registration to the doctor’s consultation.
I’ve heard of the long agonising waiting time during the pre-COVID period especially at the Emergency Department but my experience was actually far from that. There was quite a queue but I was ushered to the doctor’s office in less than 20 minutes. The doctor even referred me for an appointment at the Skin Specialist Clinic and I was actually surprised to receive a call the very next morning on the confirmation of my appointment date.
I’m hoping that the efficiency will stay in the days to come for the comfort and convenience of patients needing urgent health treatment in cases of accidents and emergencies.
