Over 90 officers and teachers of the Counseling and Career Guidance Division at the Ministry of Education, secondary schools, colleges and sixth form centres visited the Faculty of Agriculture and the Halalan Thayyiban Research Centre of the Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) Sinaut Campus yesterday.
The visit aimed to gain information about programmes offered by the faculty and centre.
Head of Postgraduate Programmes of the Faculty of Agriculture Anisah Syakirah binti Anwari and Head of Postgraduate Programmes at the Halalan Thayyiban Research Centre Dr Siti Nur Idayu binti Haji Matusin delivered presentations on the programmes available.
A brief presentation about the Ibnu Sina Scientific Laboratory Centre was also delivered to provide insights into the laboratory facilities to support the curriculum and scientific research requiring laboratory work.
The visit continued with a tour of the facilities at the Sinaut Campus, including the scientific laboratory, herbal house, aquaculture pond, agronomic farm, and halal innovation kitchen. – Rokiah Mahmud
