Minister of Education Datin Seri Setia Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd Salleh while attending the 8th Asian Summit on Education and Skills (ASES) 2023 from October 15-17 in Bengaluru, India, shared the Ministry of Education’s initiatives and best practices.
She also shared on the recent launch of the ministry’s Strategic Plan 2023-2027 in September 2023 focusing on three overarching objectives – nurturing future-ready learners, enhancing an innovative education ecosystem, and building up human resources.
The summit is an annual event serving as the Asian Chapter of the annual Education World Forum, bringing together ministers of education, senior policymakers, and influential leaders in the education and skills sectors from India, Asian countries and several others emerging economies outside the region, to share views and discuss challenges and opportunities for education and skills in Asia.
This year theme was ‘Stronger, Bolder, Better Education for all: Building Collaboration, Improving Quality and Realising Opportunity’.
