The Education Loan Assistance Scheme (SBPP) application for the 2024/2025 academic year commences today at 8.30am and will closed on February 29 at 4pm, the Ministry of Education (MoE) announced through the Department of Scholarship Management yesterday.
Applicants for SBPP must also apply for at least one programme offered by local higher education institutions via HECAS online application.
Applicants are required to submit the application form (softcopy) via email to sbpp@moe.gov.bn and all relevant documents including printed SBPP and HECAS form to the Department of Scholarship Management, Counter 3, One Stop Centre, Block C, Ground Floor, MoE, before or not later than SBPP closing date.
Application for SBPP will only be offered once a year.
Applicants who have not received their official results but wish to apply, may submit their predicted results from their respective schools and institutions. However, the result of the application will be based on their actual official results.
Unsuccessful applicants who meet the entry requirement of SBPP can submit a letter of appeal to the Department of Scholarship Management for further consideration.
However, applicants are only given three working days to submit their letter of appeal.
