A bounty of locally grown fruits is currently drawing both locals and international tourists to the bustling Gadong night market.
Visitors to the market can feast their eyes on a variety of durians, including the local varieties and imported favourites such as Musang King and Black Thorn. Frequent visitor to the market Ahmad Othman expressed his delight, saying, “I have a deep fondness for durian. And now that it’s in season, I can truly relish the king of fruits before the season ends.”
