A driver escaped unhurt when his vehicle suddenly burst into flames along the Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien (SHOAS) Bridge on Monday morning.
According to the Fire and Rescue Department (FRD), 11 firefighters from Bangar Fire Station led by ASO Haji Asli bin Haji Bini and Acting ASO Ramzul Asrin bin Ramly were dispatched.
The cause of the fire and estimated losses are currently under investigation.
The FRD advised the public to ensure that their vehicles are in good condition.
