Chef Oddie Akbar from a local restaurant won a new BMW Motorrad R 1250 GS as the grand prize in the ‘Make Shopping A Ride’ promotion organised by Baiduri Bank in collaboration with Supa Save.
In an interview, the Indonesian national said, “Alhamdulillah, I won a new motorcycle and I wish to thank Supa Save and Baiduri Bank for organising the promotion. When I pulled out the prize from the box, I recited Bismillah and Alhamdulillah I won the bike. ”
The 32-year-old added, “I have been eyeing the grand prize for quite some time as I’ve been shopping twice a week at Supa Save. I have said to myself that I will win a bike one day, and today, my dream came true. I’ve been riding a smaller horse power bike and this will be my first big bike.”
Meanwhile, Zul Fauzi bin Haji Miramit, the second prize winner received a BND3,000 shopping voucher and Hariz Fayadh bin Haji Musa, placed third, received a BND1,500 shopping voucher.
Terrence Han Chuan Siew and Noryati Musing won two consolation prizes of BND500 shopping voucher.
Baiduri Bank Head of Retail Banking Lim Kian Chiong and Ben Foods (B) Sdn Bhd General Manager Darren Yap jointly presented the prizes to the winners.

The promotion was held in conjunction with Supa Save’s 25th anniversary for Baiduri Credit and Debit Cardholders who spent a minimum of BND100 in a single receipt for a chance in the grand lucky draw.
