DPMM FC head coach Jamie McAllister was visibly pleased with his side’s performance in the 4-2 win over Geylang International FC in the Singapore Premier League at the Jalan Besar Stadium in Singapore on Saturday night.

The newly-appointed head coach tasted his first victory since taking charge of the team.

“I am very pleased with the process. This was coming,” he said.

“The boys worked so hard four, five weeks since I’ve been in and they get the rewards tonight by pure effort, organisation, discipline, real focus and the game plan.

“We wanted to start fast and tried to put them on the back-foot and we’ve done that. We created some very good chances and we took them today.”

The Scotsman acknowledged the threat and quality of their opponents adding that his charges defended well and deserved the three points.
