The Brunei Breast Cancer Support Group (BBCSG) in collaboration with the Universiti Brunei Darussalam Mosque Muslimah Group, presented donations to orphans during its ‘Kami Peduli’ event at the residence of BBCSG president Hajah Aminah binti Haji Momin at Teratak Anaria, in Kampong Rimba yesterday.
The event aimed to answer the Government of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s call to take care of the welfare of the underprivileged and ease their burden during Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.
The donations, comprising cash and basic food items, were presented by the president and head of UBD Mosque Muslimah Group to 107 orphans and their guardians.
BBCSG Vice President Hajah Linda Aini binti Abdullah and committee members of UBD Mosque Muslimah Group also attended.
