Donations flow for children, NGOs and humanitarian fund

LSL Sdn Bhd yesterday presented donations to 155 underprivileged children and orphans as well as two non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and the Humanitarian Fund for Palestinians in Gaza 2023.

Brunei Islamic Religious Council Acting Secretary Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sabtu attended the event at the Lugu Light Industrial Park’s Indah Biru Banquet Hall.

LSL Sdn Bhd Director Jimmy Wong said the donation is a way to share sustenance as well as positively impact life together and contribute to the community.

He also shared the achievements of the company established in 1985. Since being registered as a Class 6 contractor in 2002 at the Ministry of Development, the company has contributed to the Sultanate by developing various projects in a short time.

Haji Hamzah, LSL Sdn Bhd Managing Director Low Soon Lye and Jimmy Wong handed over the donations to the children. Meanwhile, Syarikat Aluglass Sdn Bhd Director Tay Chai Ming handed over BND1,000 donation each to the Child Development Centre, Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital and the Humanitarian Fund for Palestinians in Gaza 2023.

This was followed by the donation from LSL Sdn Bhd, where Low Soon Lye handed over BND2,000 each to the Child Development Centre, RIPAS Hospital, Pusat Ehsan  Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam and the Humanitarian Fund for Palestinians in Gaza 2023. – James Kon
