The Ministry of Defence (MinDef) and the military services under the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) led by their leaders presented donations to RBAF personnel’s children with different abilities yesterday.
The donations were in the form of cash from the RBAF Welfare Fund and daily necessities from the MinDef.
Acting Joint Force Commander of the RBAF Colonel (U) Hismawadi bin Haji Mohd Said handed over donations for 54 children of RBAF personnel at the MinDef at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Bolkiah Garrison.
Meanwhile, Commander of the RBLF Brigadier General Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman handed over donations to nine children of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) Headquarters (RBLF HQ) and RBLF HQ Company (RBLF HQ COY), RBLF personnel at the Officers’ Mess Berakas Garrison.
Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin handed donations to 31 children of RBN personnel at Samudera Hall, Muara Naval Base.
Meanwhile, Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohd Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim handed over donations to 31 children of RBAirF personnel at Hungry Hippo Restaurant, Batu Bersurat.
Chief Medical Services Colonel (Dr) Haji Mohd Hafizul bin Haji Mohd Hassan and Chief Dental Services Colonel (Dr) Jefri bin Haji Abdul Razak handed over donations to 19 children of the Medical and Health Services RBLF and Dental Services RBLF at Ibnu Sina Lecture Hall, Medical Services Headquarters, Bolkiah Garrison.
Commanding Officer of RGdR RBLF Lieutenant Colonel Norranellwi bin Siaran/Searen presented donations to three children of the Royal Guards Regiment (RGdR) at the Cookhouse, Sungai Akar Camp, RGdR RBLF.
Meanwhile, 46 children of the Combat Service Support (CSS) RBLF received donations from Deputy Commander of RBLF Colonel Muhamad Wata bin Abdullah Awat and Commandant CSS RBLF Lieutenant Colonel Azhar bin Matzan at the Warrant Officers, Staff Sergeant and Sergeants’ Mess, Berakas Garrison.
Acting Field Commander RBLF Lieutenant Colonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim as well as commanding officers of units handed over donations to 26 children of Field Headquarters RBLF, Second Battalion RBLF (2Bn RBLF), Third Battalion RBLF (3Bn RBLF), Combat Engineer Regiment RBLF, Assault Reconnaissance Squadron RBLF and School of Infantry RBLF personnel.
