The well-being of orphans continues to receive attention from various parties, particularly with the arrival of Syawal just days away.
The Daun Restaurant was among the generous donors this Ramadhan, hosting an iftar for 30 orphans registered under the Brunei-Muara District Office.
The orphans were also presented with cash donations and Hari Raya hampers.
The event began with the recitation of Tahlil and Doa Selamat. Donations were contributed by OKKY Jewelry Co Ltd and Masjaya Goldsmith. Acting Assistant Brunei-Muara District Officer Haji Md Khairul Sirajul Fikri bin Haji Jamaluddin attended as the guest of honour and presented the donations.
Managing Director of OKKY Jewelry, The Daun and Masjaya Goldsmith, Koo Hok Kim and special guest Pengiran Haji Mansor bin Pengiran Haji Jaya also presented Hari Raya envelopes to bring cheer to the orphans as they prepare for the festivities.
Koo shared that the event was an opportunity to give back to the community and gather with orphans in a warm and caring environment.
