Documentary on late prince ropes in a strong crowd

Thousands of viewers turned up for the screening of a special documentary film Prince Azim – Son of the Arts at the Jerudong International School (JIS) Arts Centre last weekend.

The documentary was executively produced by His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen, Her Royal Highness Princess ‘Azemah Ni’matul Bolkiah and Her Royal Highness Princess Fadzilah Lubabul Bolkiah.

Four screenings were held, with all recording a near full house. Viewers included Cabinet Ministers, senior government officials, representatives from embassies and members of the public.

The documentary shared rare home movies and exclusive conversations with Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim’s loved ones and the people he inspired, and discussed the late prince’s passions.

“Alhamdulillah, we are grateful to the thousands of people who bought tickets to see the special documentary. With your help, ticket earnings will be donated to causes that Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim was personally involved with,” Chief Executive Officer of Progresif Sdn Bhd Hajah Nurul Haniah binti Haji Jaafar said.

“Indeed, Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim’s greatest legacy is to positively impact the lives of others, especially those in need. The words and deeds of Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim will forever live on in our hearts,” she added.

The documentary will be made available via the Progresif Media platform soon.

Proceeds from Progresif Media showing will be donated to Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam; Centre for Children with Special Needs (KACA); Society for the Management of Autism Related issues in Training, Education and Resources (SMARTER) Brunei; and Children’s Cancer Foundation (YASKA).

Progresif Sdn Bhd (Progresif), as the appointed official marketing and event partner for the documentary, collaborated with JIS as the venue partner and with local food and beverages vendors contributing to the success of the event.
