A Doa Selamat was yesterday held for three personnel of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), who as members of the 6th Independent Decommissioning Body Verification, Monitoring and Assistance Team (IDB VMAT 6/2024), will be heading to Mindanao, the Philippines.
Present during the ceremony at Surau Ad-Difa’, Bolkiah Garison was Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, along with members of the Defence and RBAF Executive Committee, the acting director of East Asia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Defence and Armed Forces Attache of the Philippines, officers and staff of the Ministry of Defence.
The IDB VMAT 6/2024 contingent, led by Lieutenant Colonel (U) Mohammad Khairul bin Pehin Datu Indera Setia Dato Paduka Seri Haji Sulaiman, will depart the Sultanate on June 10.
