In conjunction with the silver jubilee celebration of Bandar Seri Begawan (BSB) Arabic Preparatory School, a Doa Kesyukuran was held at the school on Tuesday.
Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim, the guest of honour, inaugurated BSB Arabic Preparatory School Surah Yaasiin book of the Arabic school which is a donation to be used as an endowment. The event continued with the recitation of Surah Yaasiin and Tahlil, followed by the screening of a video down memory lane, and the presentation of the Surah Yaasiin.
A mini exhibition of ‘Education through the ages of the Arabic school’ was also set up at the event.
The event is to express gratitude for the blessings of Allah the Almighty and hoped that the school will continue to play its role as a place to distribute knowledge following its vision and mission.
Former leaders, teachers and staff of the school also attended the event.
