A Doa Kesyukuran ceremony to mark national-level Family Day was held at Ash-Shaliheen Mosque yesterday.
Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad was the guest of honour.
A religious talk on ‘Embracing Bruneian Family Core Values: (Loving, Responsible, Respect, Caring) One Hope’ was delivered by a special duties officer at the Ministry of Religious Affairs followed by a mass Asar prayer and the recitation of Doa.
Permanent Secretary (Culture) at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) Pengiran Haji Mohd Hasnan bin Pengiran Haji Ali Hassan; Permanent Secretary (Community) at the MCYS Hajah Nor Ashikin binti Haji Johari; Permanent Secretary (Youth) at the MCYS Haji Zakaria bin Haji Serudin; and Deputy Permanent Secretary (Community) at the MCYS Dr Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah as well as directors of divisions and departments, officials and staff of the ministry were also present. – Azlan Othman
